Asalamualakum brothers and sisters!:-) okay ihave a question....is there a specific hadith saying that women and men must pray in seperate rooms? becuase i know that in the time of Rasool SAW, women and men prayed in the same room, but just that women prayed behind the men.Im asking this becuase last week i attended asr prayer at my masjid and me and my sis were the only ones there in the ladies section. The imam had already started salah, and we had no idea where the imam was in the prayer. So what do u do when the imam has already started salah and u join later and ure in a seperate room from the imam and cant see him ? jazkAllah khairan!! Walaikum asalaam fi aman Allah, :-) on a different note, is there any way to delete those immature hate posts?? This is an islamic site if u dont have a mature, responsible, message to make, dont say anything!

WA LAIKUM SALAM WA BARAKATU!

Bimillah!

Anything that I say wrong is from me and anything that i say correct is from ALLAH!

Insha Allah sister what I am about to say is correct. When walking into the masjid in the middle of salah you should just join in where ever they are in the salah and complete the salah after the tasleem. Do not salam out, stand and continue the salah until you complete the rak'ahs that you did not do. Yes men and women can prey together as long as there is some type seperation to prevent mixing (i.e. a curtain).

As salmu alaikum
