Guide us to the Straight Way:
-Ihdina alssirata almustaqeema

I believe that Siraatal Mustaqeem means the "straight and narrow way/path," as in the path followed by true Muslims. This would be as opposed to following the path of those who go astray and do not earn Allah's favor. This is an ayah, or line of Suratal Fatiha, the first Sura (chapter) of the Holy Quran. You can find English transliterations of the Quran at a library, bookstore, or even here on line, Inshallah.

Wa Salaam

means : Lead us to the Straight Way:
every one knows the right path. all religions say the same thing. this is a prayer to Allah, that he should lead us the right path, for we being ordinary mortals may not have enough courage and determination to do so. we may know the right path, but what is important is that we follow it.

Wa Salaam
