I am writing this in response to the horrible events in New York city. I want to talk to Muslim groups everywhere and urge them to band together to condemn these violent acts. At the heart of this event is the growing use of suicide agents by Islamic fringe groups. These groups extol their members to achieve Heaven by dying for their cause on earth. The Qur�an specifically denies this, but Islamic religious leaders have not come out strongly enough against this belief.

Whether or not Islamic militants were involved in the New York event, and evidence seems to indicate that this was the case, the belief that a faithful Muslim can achieve the peace of Heaven by killing himself and others around him by violence must be condemned by all responsible Muslims everywhere.

I ask you to contact every group and individual that you possibly know and spread this message.

Those who carried out these horrible acts in New York not only struck at the USA, but struck at the very heart of Islam. The world will never again respect the Muslim faith unless this mistaken belief in the sanctity of violence is thoroughly rejected by all true believers.

If God is love, than who do those serve who promote hate and violence?

Please, start a tidal wave of rejection for this poisoned belief in violence. Let those who would kill know that they forfeit their souls to do so. Make your voice so loud that no believer can ever again be persuaded to kill his way to Heaven.

Write to everyone you know. Publish articles in your papers, in your discussion groups, in your news reports. Extol your religious leaders to unite in one voice that no true believer can ever attain Heaven by violence. Spread this message to every mosque city and village in the world.

Help save your faith.

First off, I am Christian and from Oklahoma City. We, I am sure as you know, suffered a terrible trajedy from "one of our own". I don't blame Islam for this terrible act. I do hold those leaders who harbor these evil men accountable. I was searching the internet to find out what the Arab world had to say regarding this terrible event. I agree that the name of Islam has been tarnished. I don't think this is simply a fight on your part to save Islam, but now a fight to save all of humanity. The possibility of a nuclear retaliation is now being discussed. If this monster is released God save us all.
I would hope that those moderate Arab nations would step in now and intervene. We must end this radical fundamentalism or I fear that the world as we know it will cease to exist. We are at a crossroads now and the acts of the faithful will be tested to their limits.

The terrorist did not show just their cowardace, but showed they will not stop until they destroy our way of life. Good men and women must stand united in the face of evil and fight it with all their might.

This thread has been created Sept. 12 and it seems that no Arab Muslim has posted so far. Doesn't that say anything about this whole thing? Could it be that no Muslim had visited this thread or they just don't want to respond or they do not agree with what you are saying? Just asking....

Since you are 'asking' Laarni, allow me to respond...

Firstly, one does not need to be an Arab to be a Muslim. There are thousands of Americans who have chosen Islam as their religion. Many muslims where also directly affected, as there were many who also worked there and live in NY.

Secondly, the first post points out that terrorism is not part of Islam. This is correct.
However, it was incorrect to say that 'Islamic religious leaders have not spoken strongly against it'. Religious 'leaders' have spoken against terrorism, hijacking and suicide bombings for many years and very strongly. They are clear and steadfast, explaining with proof, that these acts are against the fundamental principles of Islam and are therefore rejected. One who dies killing himself, is one who has commited suicide and will not attain Paradise, rather The Fire is his abode. Of course, you are dependent upon the media and therefore are only aware of that which they choose to convey to you. Many people make no effort to seek the truth from its proper source.

Thirdly, it is incorrect to use the word 'Islamic' alongside the word 'militant' or 'terrorist'. This is evident from my second point. This is continually used by the media to confuse the masses further, who are already ignorant and confused.

Fourthly, the word 'fundamental' is used to imply an incorrect meaning. The second post mentions that 'fundamentalism' must end and that 'moderate' nations should step in. It implies that being fundamental is the same as being one who is 'extreme' or of 'unacceptable' behaviour. This is not the case.

The true meaning of being 'fundamental' is that one follows the basic, core, original principles. In doing so, one will return to the true teachings of Islam, where such evil acts are prohibited. If one were to become 'moderate', this would mean that ones belief is not of the original, core belief, but that which has the influence of other beliefs. It is when this influence occurs that such evil acts occur.
Please do not be offended when I say that it is the basis of the Christian belief to believe that Jesus died for the sins of others. Jesus who had no sin and was innocent, beared the crimes and the sins of others, so that christians may be forgiven. This is rejected by the fundamental principles of Islam. Islam rejects the belief of punishing innocent people due to the sins of others. The terrorist however, believes that killing innocent people due to the crimes of others is acceptable, which is in total contradiction with Islam.

So, in response to your question, the answer is no. Just because there wasn't a response please don't make up your own conclusions. Go and find out the truth for yourself and don't rely on others. To respond to such questions properly requires alot of time and it is for this reason that many have not answered.
As for 'saving' Islam, Islam will always have people who adhere to it correctly upon the true path and it is under the preservation of Allah. So you can see that it is clear, that terrorism has no part in Islam and Islam has no part in terrorism.

I am sorry that I can't give a better response and I hope that my words are not too harsh(i.e. being straight to the point) this is due to a lack of time on my behalf.

My final prayer is, May Allah guide you and I to the correct and true path of Islam, to the worship of Allah alone, where one will find true peace and happiness. Ameen.

How homeless must a person be to do something like that? How hungry must a person be to do something like that? How unfree up must a person be to do something like that? God's Will is Supreme. I suggest not wrestling with It.


We know nothing of the future, unless God Wills. We know nothing of Final Judgement or Rapture, unless God Wills.


God gave you gifts. What are you doing with them?


God gives you a small spot to exert your will as you see fit. It's called your heart.


The Creation is the Outpouring of the Heart of God.


God is beyond your ken, but your awareness of God is not. It is up to you.


We can only know Time and Death from one perspective. Quit fretting.


All things come from God. Misguided people think and act otherwise.


No Messiah is coming back.


Intercessors are unneeded. There is no intermediary between The Creator and His Creation. You are His Creation.


I know nothing of angels or devils. That may change, but all I know of is God.


There is no Last Prophet or Only Son.


The Word of God is usually misunderstood when filtered through language.


You may do what you want with your will, that is the law. Good luck.


You can be a servant to God or to something else. Servants to something else are tortured souls.


Fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom, but Love of God is its culmination.


God is not what you think He is. And He's not what I think He is, either.

Where we go when we die is unknown. Anyone that says they know is not being truthful.


God listens when you speak to Him.


Past and future lives matter as much as last year or next year.


If you are crawling to God, the only thing you'll find is the dust on the floor.


After you're done castigating yourself for a sin, ask God and those you've wronged for forgiveness. If God is the only one you can ask, pray for those you've wronged. And next time, skip the castigating.


Don't worry about what others think of you. Mind what you think of them.


People that say they know the Will of God are generally not telling the truth.


What do you really know of Heaven and Hell? Where we go when we die is the Will of God. What do you know of the Will of God?


Many people will not hear these words.


The Creation can not be comprehended completely. Don't let that stop you, however. Wonder is worship of God.


Abraham gave The Law. Moses gave The Law. Jesus gave The Law. Mohammed gave The Law. The Law is always the same.


Once there were two clay pots in the desert. One was filled with gold, the other was filled with crap. Sun, wind and sand beat mercilessly upon the pots. Over time, the pots crumbled and blew away into dust. What was in your pot?

God is The Savior. Phantoms and deified men save nothing.


The sins of the world were not taken away by the death of Jesus.The sins of the world killed him and we are forgiven anyway. God is Graceful and Forgiving.


I do not know about Resurrection and Ascension. I know you don't either.


Believing and Knowing are not the same thing.

This place is Real. It is not an illusion or a shadow.


God is Aware of you being aware of Him.

Entertain God sometimes. He Loves it.


What are the habits you don't engage in while in the company of your loved ones and friends? Don't do them in front of God, either. God is Most Polite, but it still embarrasses him.


Give some money away at least once a day. If not money, then time. If not time, then a prayer.


Do not believe superstitions. They're easy to see. If you believe it because everyone else does, or you believe it "just in case", or you read it in a book, it might be one. God gave you Reason for a reason.


Faith is not a mystery. The only mystery is the Will of God.

The Living God sees Love, not Gender.


No politician, Pontius Pilate onward, ever took responsibility for anything important. Be wary of the politician in your heart.


Sometimes you can imperfectly sense the Perfect Nature of God. Befriend It.


Like people, religions bring many guises and gifts. God Graces what God Will.


Like people, religions often clash. God has always said, "You shall not kill each other." Only God grants Peace.


"You shall not kill each other" also means "You shall not kill yourself."


The Word of God is simple and confounding.


No one can tell you the Word of God. It can be pointed to, however.


The Word of God is irrelevant to a nation of shopkeepers and those attendant to commerce.


This is not the Word of God.


This is written by someone who has read The Word in his heart, placed there by the Will of The Most Merciful, Loving and Graceful Creator and wishes God to bless you in kind.

Justice and vengeance are God's. He knows every heart and takes measure. So calm down.


God corrects. There is no revenge.


God loves to play.


God loves to see your children dance.


God loves to hear music and song.


God loves to see us give each other joy.


God plays lots of jokes. Pay attention.

Evil is the exhaust of free will. So is good.


The world likes truthseekers more than truthfinders, but the world actually dislikes both.


The greatest suffering in the world is accompanied by the cries of children and the weeping of mothers. Their suffering, the suffering of the poorest and most despairing, is the result of the choices of many millions of selfish people. Who are the selfish? Those who do not give time, money or prayer are the selfish.


Selfish people never think they are.


All is in service to God. Not everyone has gotten around to admitting it yet.


What do you speak to when you pray? Are you speaking to the Living God Who Is Aware, or are you speaking to an idea of God that you inherited or stumbled upon? God hears all you say, but you need to know to Whom you speak.


Idolatry is alive and well. Literally.


You do not stumble onto God.


We are surrounded by cameras and mirrors. Don't get stuck on one.

God is Present in the marketplace, but His Presence is Sad and Angry when the marketplace has no room for Charity.

God gave us Reason. The Creation works as God Wills. Science is the daughter of Reason, revealing that Will in the physical world.


Opulent houses of worship are tombs. Rouge on a corpse does not raise the dead.


Singular Beauty in any human endeavor is of God.


Jesus said "Be as wise as a serpent and as gentle as a dove." It's a shame so many get it backwards.

The unseeing are moving towards their amulets and rituals. They are mistaken.


The Law must be rewritten from time to time. Conditions require it.


Good men and women will pray for the unseeing.


Those in sympathy and harmony grow more so. Those in discord do also.


Believe no rumors. Use your eyes, ears, mind and heart.


The center of heart is ear.


God's Will will confound the meteorologists.


Your mettle will be tested as never before.


This is not prophecy. This is reporting.


Give fear no foothold. Put your faith in the Will of God.


Fools, hypocrites and moneymen think I'm full of crap.


Once, three people were hiking in the mountains. Thunderclouds formed far away, and the air took a different scent. One hiker said "It's just a little rain" and kept going. The second hiker said "I have a nice raincoat" and kept going. The third hiker found a small cave and built a fire to keep warm.
The first hiker drowned in a flash flood brought on by a torrential downpour. The second hiker stayed dry in his nice raincoat but lightning took him before he knew what happened. The third hiker heard the storm pass while tending his fire.

When things happen, they will happen fast. Be ready.


This is not alarmist rhetoric. This is very real.


The Living God wants it over quickly.


Part of harvest is threshing.


A lot of people won't even notice much. God is Merciful and spares the ignorant.


God is Graceful and gives those who are aware of Him shelter.


What is your awareness of the Living God? Are you still holding fast to various lies laying like fossils and bones in the dirt and blood of two thousand years of Jewish, Christian and Moslem machinations? The Law is scattered, jewels among the bones, shining with the Light of The One True God. Pick them up and leave the rest.


God is Just and Corrects evenly.


The unseeing will think the world is ending. Their world is ending.


Whatever you cling to that is not real will be gone in an instant.


I know nothing of external signs. Listen to and see the signs in the hearts of you and your loved ones.


I pray I am incorrect. It will be terrible for a time.


The Will of God through Love, Mercy and Grace is our home. All that appears evil is through the imperfect will of humanity.


None of this is really a big deal. Love each other as God loves you. Be of service to God and each other. Forgive all grievances and your own faults. Be mindful of the Presence of God. That is The Law.
