INTRODUCTION TO JAMAAT-UL-MUSLIMEEN
For every person who believes in Allah and His apostle Muhammad (may peace be upon him) the present
existence of sects and factions in Islam is a huge hurdle in the acceptance and propagation of true and
unadulterated Islam.
The Islam that was present at the time of Allahs prophet (may peace be upon him) was one and there
were no factions, schisms, sects and firqas as there are today. Moreover, the following words of the
prophet (may peace be upon him) are an eye opener for all believers and seekers of truth:
The people of the book (Jews and Christians) divided into 72 sects and this Ummah will divide into 73
sects. Out of these 72 will go to hell and only one will go the paradise and that is Al-jamaat.
{Abu-Dawood and is Saheeh }.
Thus it is the duty of every believer to seek this Al-jamaat and save himself from Allahs torment and pave
the way towards paradise.
Now, let us analyze what this Al-jamaat is in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.
Allah, the Almighty says:
HE NAMED YOU MUSLIMEEN BEFORE THIS (QURAN) AND ALSO IN IT.
{Soorah Al-Haj: Verse 78 }.
Thus all believers should call themselves Muslimeen (singular form- Muslim) only and should not employ
any other sectarian differentiating names as are to be found today.
Al-jamaat means THE JAMAAT and it is upon us to search for the complete name of this jamaat. By the
grace of Allah that too is present in the traditions of the prophet (may peace be upon him):
THE HEART OF A BELIEVER DOES NOT DECIEVE IN 3 THINGS: a) PERFORMING GOOD
DEEDS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH ALONE, b) OBEYING THE AMEER, c) ADHERING TO
JAMAAT-UL-MUSLIMEEN.
{ Mustadrak of Hakim and is Saheeh }
STICK TO JAMAAT-UL-MUSLIMEEN AND ITS IMAM----------- STAY AWAY FROM ALL
SECTS.
{ Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim }
WHOSOEVER OPPOSES JAMAAT-UL-MUSLIMEEN, HE REMOVES THE CHAIN OF ISLAM
FORM HIS NECK.
{ Mustadrak of Hakim and is Saheeh }
Thus it is clear that the name of Al-jamaat is JAMAAT-UL-MUSLIMEEN.
We, therefore invite all the followers of Islam to say no to all sects and embrace pure Islam which is being
offered by JAMAAT-UL-MUSLIMEEN and which is only present in the Quran and Sunnah.

Allah the exalted says: " and be not of those POLYTHEISTS who have SPLIT UP THEIR DEEN (ISLAM) and became SECTS, each exulting in whatever they have "[Soorah Rum (30): Ayah 31-33]
Allah the exalted says: " as for those who SPLIT THEIR DEEN(ISLAM) and BECAME SECTS, you (PROPHET ! ) have nothing to do with them, their case will go to ALLAH, who then shall tell them what they use to do ".[ Soorah An'aam: Ayah 159 ]
Allah the exalted says:" and be not as those who disputed and remained SECTS even after the clear proofs had come on to them. For such there is an awful doom when some people will have happiness on their faces and some people will have gloomy faces, those who have the gloomy faces (they will be told) even after having the blessing of faith you did kufr (atheism)"
[Soorah Aal-I-Imran: Ayah 105]
Allah the exalted says:" I can send my torment from the sky or from beneath your feet or divide you amongst yourselves into SECTS, and make you taste the fight amongst yourself..." [Soorah An'aam: Ayah 65]
Sectarism is shirk, kufr, Allah 's torment aswell.

By Jamaat ul Muslimeen on Thursday, June 21, 2001 - 02:57 am:
If sectarianism is not allowed in Islam then why was another sect by the name of Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen introduced?
Allah, the Almighty has ordered all Muslims to remain united and to keep aloof from sectarianism and Firqa's. The jamaat or group which existed at the time of the holy prophet (peace be upon him) was definitely not a sect because Allah's messenger (peace be upon him) cannot indulge in sectarianism while preaching against it. And this jamaat which existed at the time of the holy prophet (peace be upon him) had the religion of Allah in all it's purity as it's agenda. It was a jamaat which was named by the holy prophet (peace be upon him). It's duty was to preach pure Islam without the innovations and Bida't that have now made Islam a mixture of Man's own understanding and Fiqh. And the name of this particular jamaat was Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen. The holy prophet (peace be upon him) once said: Women should also take part with Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen in their Eid prayers. (Sahih Bukhari, Kitab-ul-Eidein)
Since this question regarding women offering Eid prayers was asked at the time of the holy prophet (peace be upon him), then quite clearly the name of the jamaat which was led by the holy prophet (peace be upon him) was Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen only. This jamaat was definitely not a sect like the sects of today. Hence, what Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen has done is that it has brought to life a Sunnah which was all but forgotten. The Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen of today follows the same principles which have been taught by Allah and His messenger the holy prophet (peace be upon him); this Jamaat is far from sectarianism and it has no connection to any sect. So, Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen is not a new sect but it is the only jamaat regarding which the holy prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Stick To Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen And It's Imam (Leader); Stay Away From All Sects."
(Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
3. Why Was Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen Formed?
Islam lays great stress on the subject of unity and Muslims have been ordained to stay united in their efforts for the propagation of the ultimate religion-Islam.
Allah says in the Quran:
1. And hold fast all of you together to the rope of Allah and do not separate. (Aale-Imran:102)
2. Who is better in speech them he who invites towards Allah, practices righteous good deeds and says that I am from the Muslimeen. (Fussliat: 33)
3. Allah has chosen for you a religion and may you not die save as Muslims. (Al-Baqarah: 132)
4. Say: I have been ordained to be one from among the Muslimeen. (An-Naml: 91)
The prophet (may peace be upon him) said:
1. Stay united and do not dissent. (Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim)
2. Do not dissent because the people before you dissented and perished. (Ref. as above)
3. Stick to Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen and its Imam.........Stay away from all sects even if you have to live upon roots of Trees and have to die in such a state. (Ref. as above)
There are many more verses and traditions which lay stress on unity, calling oneself Muslim only, staying aloof from sects and adhering to Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen; it is because of this that Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen was restarted and not formed, while all sects and firqas besides Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen were formed and innovated afterwards. This is to say that Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen was the only jamaat in the days of the prophet (peace be upon him) and there were no sects or firqas at that
time (Saheeh Bukhari).
what If Everyone Named Their Group Jamaat ul-Muslimeen?
Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen is only a name with with no real meaning to it. Is their any other feature of Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen, which is not present in any
other sect?
Islam has invited all believers to unite and remain as one jamaat and not to dissent. Jamaat ul Muslimeen is the only way believers can be united because it is the
solution given by Allah and His prophet (peace be upon him).
No other sect can prove its existence at the time of the prophet (peace be upon him).
Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen was restarted in Pakistan a long time ago and it is against the teachings of Allah and His prophet (peace be upon him) to form another jamaat even it is by the same name. This is because this can also lead to dissension and disunity.
It is not allowed in Islam even to have two Ameers (Khalifas) simultaneously, so how can it be that the believers form two different jamaats.
The prophet (peace be upon him)said:
When the oath of allegiance (bai'at) is taken at the hands of two Imams then kill the latter. (Saheeh Muslim).
This clearly means that there is no room in Islam for two different jamaats or ameers.
Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen is not only limited to a mere name; in fact, it follows Islam in all its purity and that can only be found in Quran and Hadeeth.
We invite all those who have any reservations regarding Jamaat-ul-Muslimeens belief, actions or any other subject are invited to study our books in detail and also check our activities in the light of Quran and Sunnah.
