If Allah swt does not care what we wear then why were the verses in the Quran revealed telling us what to wear. Allah swt has perfected our religion for us.. whether we choose to be obedient is on us.
�It is not fitting for a mu�min (believing man) or mu�mina (believing woman) when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if anyone disobeys Allah and His Apostle he is indeed strayed on a manifestly wrong path.� (33:36)
Besides...we are not running things here Allah swt is... you wouldn't work in McDonalds' wearing a KFC uniform... why... because it is in the rules. If you don't play by the rules you get fired or the fire.... whatever is appropriate for the situation.
