A MESSAGE FROM THE NEW EGROUP OWNERS

Alsalam 3alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

Welcome to Maktabah AlSalafiyah egroup!
Insha Allah this
reaches everyone in kind spirits.

This email group was formerly known as IttaqoAllah
email group and it has been transfered over
to a new owner, with its new name.

We are comprised of three sisters in Islam who are dedicated
to spreading the message of Islam in the way of the
Qur'an and Sunnah. We are located on a very small island
off the east coast of Malaysia, and alhamdulillah
we are able to reach people by the internet.

There are many changes in the egroup format, including
the addition of new moderators and the frequency of emails.
Insha Allah.

Allah subhana wa ta'ala says in the Qur'an "O you
who believe! Fear Allah and keep your duty to Him.
And let every person look to what he
has sent forth for the morrow, and fear Allah.
Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you
do." (Surah al Hashr:18)

At the moment, we are working on a website for
MAKTABAH ALSALAFIYAH SCHOOL, a non-governmental,
non-profit organizational school. Our objective
is to teach illiterate children, who are not
entitled to a free education on the island,
from the ages of 5-12. The school is organized and
run entirely by sisters, and our plan insha Allah is to
teach the basics of Islam, along with reading,
writing and math. We currently have two sisters
working with us as teachers and we are in the process
of hiring two more sisters for this project.

Our objective for the website is to provide a way
to inform people of the progress of Muslim children
in this part of the world, and to facilitate
ways for Muslims around the world to help us in
our efforts insha Allah.

We will keep you informed on the school project,
its history, how you can help by donating school books and
supplies at your own discretion, as well as its
progress INSHA ALLAH.

Other projects that have been started are rice distribution,
a half-way house for young children whose parents have been
deported, and a small monetary fund for pre-natal care for
pregnant women. We will provide further information on the
website how you can help with these projects if you so desire.
