this is not really about multiple wives but it is about multiple sexual partners so i thought it's close enough. from what i know, if our muslim state, hypothetically, was to go to war and take prisoners, they would be distributed among the muslims, and the men, married or single are aloud to have sex with female prisoners under their care. i have even heard some men say they are aloud to "rape" them! although it is recommended to free slaves and the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not do this to my knowledge, he on the other hand right away married the slave girl, it is still aloud. it is stated all over the Quran that men may have sex with slaves (war prisnoners). i know this is just shaytan whispering to me, but i am having a hard time understanding this. polygany is one thing, but this?? i mean, hypothetical situations can become real situations any time...how would you guys feel if your husband did that? please, am i right about this?

I think any Muslim man who would do this, whether he is my husband or not, is a disgrace. Don't they have any more self-control than to look for any and every available opportunity to have sex? To say it's man's nature to have lots of sex and more than one woman is no excuse. Animals blindly follow their nature. Man is supposed to be better than that.

I would like to respond to the question, on the the issue of permissible sex with the 'slave your right hand posses'. These women who are taken as slave's during the time of war, are obviously kafireen. When taken, their prior marriages, which are obvious to be with kafir men, become nullified. They are encouraged to accept the deen, and when they do, are not to be sent back to the disbelieving men. There are also conditions on releasing them, once they have accepted Islam, but unless someone wants more information on this, we wont speak about that issue now. The speculated reason for 'sex with slave women', is for the woman's comfort, as they have needs to, therefore this allows her this favor in a permissible way, and then to the best of my understanding, is not considered zina on her part. I will not sit here and say, as a woman myself, that I like it either, but Allah has permitted this act, and He knows best, Alhumdulillah.

I think u sisters are speaking rubbish!! Iam so sorry to say this, but uyou know so little and yet you make judgments and issue fatwas on what`s halal and what`s haram. this a grave major sin, kabirah, which Allah swt does not forgive unless you repent.
my advice is never say this is haram and this is halal unless you are definitely sure and learnt it from reliable scholars and jurists, faqih, not the books you bought from thr nearest bookshop!!
You see, there is so much interpretation for "female prisoners of war" and you can not say you can have sex with them and it`s halal!! so then the Serbs in Bosnia are execused for what they did to our sisters!!!are they??? how do you feel about this now???
