Salam everyone,
I have a question about marriage in Islam. Nowadays, the
marriage contract is made (the aqd) but the wedding night is
delayed until the couple find a house. I have a question: what
is prohibited for the husband and wife to do during this time?
What if they had intercourse? Is it haram? Some people consider
them as fiance, ie. engaged only, even though the marriage
contract took place, but they are ont living together. Are all
sexual relations permissible at this time? What is lawful and what is not permissible during this time? Please help. Thank

ASSALAAMU ALAIKUM EVERYONE,
I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT AND DOWR. I TOOK MY SHAHADA AND GOT MARRIED IN THE SAME DAY SO I STILL CONSIDER MY SELF A NEW REVERT BECAUSE IT'S STILL SO MUCH THAT I HAVE TO LEARN.
I'V BEEN MARRIED TO THIS BROTHER FOR A YEAR AND EIGHT MONTHS AND NOT ONCE HAVE I SEEN OUR MARRIAGE CONTRACT NOR HAVE I RECEIVED MY DOWR. ARE WE REALLY MARRIED? I HAVE SPOKE WITH SOME SISTERS ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THEY COULDN'T REALLY SAY,BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT IT'S DIFFERENT OPINIONS REGARDING ISLAMIC MARRIAGES. WHO COULD I TALK TO SO THAT I CAN GET AN ANSWER.
