I just wanted to say that I know ploygany is the lawful in Islam but, it's something that I would'nt ant to be associated with.I would feel uncomfortable sharing my husband with another woman. I think that since brothers have that degree over us some feel as though that they can do what they want. Marry up to 4 wive and is not even providing for all of them. I thought that if you was married, and your the first wife, you have the say so on if he can have another wife. I read a sister message saying, when will polygany be legal in the U.S.? I can assure that it will never be leagal! Marriage by islam is not even recongized by state. What do you sisters think?

you see there are certain very specific circumstances under which islam makes it permissible for a man to marry more than once, i have never read anything in the hadhis or the Quran which allows a man to marry as many wives as he wants because he "just feels like it".
