AS SALLAMU ALLAIIKKUM
I AM SISTER MUSLIMAH.
I HAVE A NEW MUSLIM SISTER LIVING HERE, SHE MET
ANOTHER MUSLIM, A BROTHER AND SHE CONFIDES IN ME ALOT. THIS BROTHER IS VERY KNOWLEABLE IN ISLAM
AND I FEAR HE IS LEADING HER ASTRAY. SHE RECENTLY GOY HERSELF AND APT. AND THE BRO. MOVED INTO HER APT. AND GAVE HER, HER SHAHADA. SHE HAS COME TO ME AND HAS BECOME FEARFUL OF HIM BECAUSE HE YELLS AT HER AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS HAS NOT TAKEN THE PROPER STEPS TO BE WITH HER AND HER SMALL CHILDREN ARE AFRAID OF HIM. HE HAS REFUSED TO LEAVE HER APT. AND NOW IS TRYING TO SEPERATE HER FROM THE OTHER SISTERS FOR BRINGING HER TRUTH THROUGH THE HADEETH AS PRESCRIBED. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST/

Was salaam.
Firstly seek the help of Allah by making dua to Allah alone. No one can hurt a person who has the protection of Allah.
Secondly seek help from the muslims in your immediate community, other sisters' and their husbands may help or you can approach the brothers in authority of the Mosque that you go to. They should be able to help, inshaallah. They may be able to re-house the sister temporarily, and be able to either advise this offending person or have him turned over to the state for abusive behaviour, at the least removed from the apt.
The offender is obviously not following the Quran and Sunnah based upon the comments that you have posted.
May Allah help you and the sister. Ameen.
