1) What forms of payment do you accept?

We prefer payment via PayPal.com, a free service that allows you to pay online via checking account, credit or debit card.

We also accept checks or money orders denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.

Bounced checks are sent directly to the collecting agency by our financial institution, for which we are not responsible. You will be charged $35 if your check bounces.



2) Is it safe to enter my personal information on your website?

Yes, shopping at Muttaqun Bookstore & More is safe. By utilizing PPG encryption technology, we are able to keep your personal information safe. All your ordering information -- including your name, address, and debit card number -- is encrypted for maximum security. Your billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system.

3) What is the shipping & handling charge and how will my order be shipped?

When checking out, you will see an estimate for shipping and handling based on your choice of either Standard or Express delivery using the United States Postal Service. The actual shipping charge will depend on the weight of all items after they are boxed, and how many boxes need to be used. The handling charge is approximately $1.50 per box.

For instance, if all of your books are small and can fit in the standard USPS Flat-Rate envelope, the total shipping and handling is $5.00.

Please note: The shopping cart does not calculate orders over 20 pounds. If, before placing an order, you need an estimate on the shipping for an order over 20 pounds (usually over 30 books), just email [email protected]


4) How long does it take to get my order delivered and what if I don't
receive it?

All orders are shipped asap (after payment is received) insha'Allah. Orders shipped in the US will take about one to two weeks to be delivered (depending on which shipping method is used and where it's shipped to). If you don't receive it within two weeks, then email us at [email protected] and we will inquire about it.


5) What about your returns policy?

If you are not satisfied with the books you can return them within 30 days of receipt of your order. The book must be in its original condition. We will issue a full refund for the price of any item you return that meets these conditions. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.


6)How can I tell what items are in stock and what items are currently out of stock?

Look at the item number. If it says "OUT_OF_STOCK" then the item is currently out of stock. YOU MAY STILL ORDER AN ITEM THAT IS OUT OF STOCK and it will be delivered to you as soon as we have it back in stock. Ordering something out of stock will not delay the rest of your order.

Sometimes items are out of stock even though not listed online. We try to update our online availability listings every week.


7) How do I use/redeem a Gift Certificate I received for your store?

Each gift certificate has a tracking number and is redeemable through any of our ordering methods (online, in person, phone, thru the mail).

To redeem a gift certificate with an online purchase, place your order in our online store as usual, and then send a separate email to [email protected] with the following:

The name you used to place the order with: ___________________
The Gift Certificate tracking number: _________________
The Gift Certificate amount: __________


Please note that when checking out and purchasing the Gift Message, at the time of checkout, the totals table incorrectly indicates the Message as "Wrapping", however you are purchasing the MESSAGE as requested.
